Springfield Township Will Host Blood Drive At Community Center Next Week

The blood drive will be held at the Chisholm Community Center.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Springfield Township will be hosting a blood drive at the Chisholm Community Center next week.

The blood drive will be held on July 1 from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at 100 South Springfield Avenue and is sponsored by the New York Blood Center-New Jersey Blood Services and hosted by the Springfield Recreation Department.

Residents can donate blood every 56 days, and platelet donors can give twice a month. One unit of blood can save up to three lives!

Donors must be between 17 and 75 years of age and are advised to drink enough fluids and bring a photo ID on July 1.
