• Caldwell field hockey scores early and often to best Verona (nj.com subscription) — Verona field hockey fell 5–0 to undefeated Caldwell in West Caldwell, dropping the Hillbillies to a 1–3 record. Caldwell controlled the game from the start, outshooting Verona 18–6 and scoring three times in the first quarter before adding two more goals in the second half.
