Man Tried To Meet Girl, 14, For Sex In South Jersey: Prosecutor
The 46-year-old was met by authorities at a proposed meeting spot for he and the girl.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A 46-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
John Remsing, of West Deptford, was charged with second-degree attempting to lure a child, second-degree attempted sexual assault, second-degree attempted prostitution with a minor, third-degree attempted endangering the welfare of a child, and a disorderly person's offense of engaging in prostitution.
According to authorities, Remsing was talking online with who he thought was a young girl, but was really an undercover detective.

During the chat, he arranged to meet in Haddon Township to have sex together.
On Tuesday, Remsing was brought into custody at the meeting location by Haddon Township Police and taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
