NJ School Bus Crash Hospitalizes 4 Kids: Authorities

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Four children who were riding a school bus and another driver were taken to the hospital on Wednesday after the vehicles collided, the Washington Township Police Department said

At around 8:45 a.m., officers responded to a crash near Pitman Downer Road and Orion Way.

Based on early evidence, authorities learned the bus was going across Pitman Downer Road from Framingham Drive toward Orion Way.

It was then hit by a driver who was going north on Pitman Downer Road.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Jefferson Hospital with minor injuries.

A group of four children who were on the bus was also taken to Jefferson as a precaution with suspected minor injuries, officials added.

The crash is still under review.
