Plane Crashes While Trying To Take Off At Union County Airport
The pilot was taken to the hospital following the crash on Saturday, said police.
LINDEN, NJ — A plane crashed while trying to take off at Linden Airport on Saturday, said Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Spokeswoman Cassandra Nolan.
The crash happened around 3:35 p.m. on Saturday at the airport at 1101 W. Edgar Rd.
Linden Police said the Cessna 172S Skyhawk veered off the runway during takeoff.

The pilot, who was the only person on board the plane, was treated on scene and taken to Newark University Hospital, said police.
Nolan said the FAA will investigate.
