Tree Branch Falls, Injures Teen At Westfield Pool
The teen was taken to a hospital after the incident at Westfield Memorial Pool, officials said.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A 15-year-old boy was injured Saturday afternoon at Westfield Memorial Pool when a tree branch came down during opening day, according to authorities.
The incident happened Saturday in the late afternoon as a strong breeze moved through the area.
The teen was hit in the back and suffered bruising and an abrasion on his lower back. He did not lose consciousness.
