1. Albuquerque Firm Chosen to Design Future of State Fairgrounds (newsradiokkob.com) — A local firm, Hartman + Majewski Design Group, has been picked to craft the long-term master plan for redeveloping the New Mexico State Fairgrounds in Albuquerque's International District. 3. Albuquerque park closures spark protest over impact on unhoused people (kob.com) — New daily closure hours at Albuquerque's Robinson Park are drawing pushback from advocates who say the rules further displace unhoused residents who rely on the space. Protesters held a sit-in during one of the closure windows, while city officials cite overuse, maintenance needs, and drug activity as reasons for the schedule change and say they're still evaluating how long it will stay in place.
