Long Island gets new professional soccer team, set to debut in 2028 (news12.com) — A new professional soccer club, USL Long Island, will begin play in 2028 at Hofstra's Shuart Stadium, giving Bay Shore players and fans a nearby team to follow. Bay Shore teen AJ Canales says the launch gives local kids a new goal to chase and a pro pathway to dream about.
