• Gridiron Greats following Monday's games from Week 3 of the Long Island high school football season (newsday.com) — Bay Shore football fans can celebrate a standout performance from running back Aiden Montford, who rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown as Bay Shore shut out Riverhead 18-0. The win pushed Bay Shore to a 3-0 start, its best opening since 1986, in a week that also saw big games from other Long Island high school stars.
