Victims identified in Howard Playground shooting that killed two men (nbcnewyork.com) — Two men were fatally shot Friday night inside Howard Playground in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and police are still searching for the shooter. NYC issues flash flood warning, opens 51 overnight shelters ahead of Sunday storm (fox5ny.com) — Brooklyn residents, especially in eastern neighborhoods and basement apartments, are being urged to move to higher ground Saturday night as the city opens 51 overnight school-based shelters ahead of Sunday's heavy rain.
