• Good vs Evil Royal Tea Party (longisland.com) — Families can plan ahead for a whimsical "Good vs Evil" Royal Tea Party at Sparkle on Stage on Woodcleft Avenue in Freeport this November. Kids will meet Snow White and the Evil Queen, enjoy etiquette lessons, and share teatime treats, while parents can either stay or explore the Nautical Mile nearby. Tickets and a multi-event "Loyal Royal Passport" are available now. 
• Legislators Mule & Davis Invite Residents to Securely Discard Medication, Documents & Electronics at Autumn Sani 2 Disposal Event (longisland.com) — Freeport's own Legislator Debra Mulé is teaming up with colleagues and Sanitary District No. 2 for a free "Shed-The-Meds" and shredding event in Baldwin on Sept. 12. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., eligible residents can safely discard old prescriptions, electronics, and sensitive documents at the Grand Avenue garage. It's a convenient way to protect privacy and the environment.
