The Jay Heritage Center (JHC) is proud to welcome educators and the general public to our site during September 2026, Constitution Month, to commemorate our nation’s journey towards independence and democracy. The free program is co-sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Social Studies Council. The event will be the first of many lively conversation about America at 250 with some of our country’s leading history scholars. It is open to teachers throughout the Mid Hudson and Sound Shore communities as well as Fairfield County.
Professors David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman and Beverly Gage will take the stage at the new Wachenheim Center to examine the history of the nation-state and the contested nature of American national identity. The panel will discuss what the United States and the Constitution have meant to citizens over time and how that vision has changed or stayed constant. &nbsp;The event is FREE but registration is required. Vacation Day Camp at Unlimited Sports Action!
When school is out, the fun is on! Turf Time at Unlimited Sports Action is a multi-sport day camp designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun on school days off, holidays, vacations, and parent/teacher conference days.
Kids are grouped by age and enjoy a variety of sports and activities, including baseball, soccer, basketball, dodgeball, kickball, flag football, obstacle courses, and more!
Camp is available for children ages 3–10.
Camp Options:
• Half Day: 9:30 AM–12:00 PM — $60/day
• Extended Half Day: 9:30 AM–1:30 PM — $75/day
• Full Day: 9:30 AM–3:00 PM — $90/day
Snack &amp; Lunch:
• All campers receive a Cheerios snack.
• Extended Half Day and Full Day campers receive a pizza lunch (1 slice per child).
Turf Time is a great way for kids to stay active, make friends, and enjoy their day off in a fun, sports-filled environment!
