• Great Neck Pizzeria Shutters After 3 Decades (patch.com) — A longtime Great Neck favorite, Francesca's Pizzeria & Restaurant at 29 N. Station Plaza has closed after more than three decades serving local families. Owners Sal and Rosario thanked customers but cited business circumstances for shutting down the beloved spot known for its pizzas and classic Italian dishes, leaving a noticeable hole in the neighborhood dining scene. 
• Focus on the Great Neck Peninsula: a new circle of life (longislandpress.com) — Great Neck business owners and residents are launching the Great Neck Business Circle to better connect local merchants, organize events, and encourage neighbors to shop and dine on the peninsula. Building on Destination: Great Neck's work, the free network aims to revitalize Middle Neck Road and surrounding commercial districts with coordinated promotions, beautification, and community gatherings that keep residents spending time and money close to home.
