• 259K Eggs Head To Long Island Families After Price-Fixing Settlement (patch.com) — A major shipment of 259,200 eggs has arrived at Long Island Cares' Hauppauge warehouse, boosting supplies for food pantries across Nassau and Suffolk counties. The eggs come from a multistate price-fixing settlement with three large producers, and will help meet rising demand from families struggling with Long Island's high cost of living and reduced SNAP benefits.
   

• Volleyball Recap: Hauppauge's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five (maxpreps.com) — Hauppauge's girls volleyball team just stretched its winning streak to five with a tight 3–2 road victory over West Islip, improving to 8–8 overall. The Eagles, led by standout performances from Khloe Collins and Lindsay Adams, now return home to host Half Hollow Hills West on Monday at 6 p.m., giving local fans a prime chance to cheer them on.
