• Bomb threat at public library prompts Hicksville school's lockout (news12.com) — Hicksville High School, the middle school, and Lee Avenue Elementary briefly went into lockout Friday morning after a person allegedly made a bomb threat inside the Hicksville Public Library. Police later deemed the threat non-credible, one person was arrested, and the lockout was lifted with classes and dismissal proceeding normally. Library leaders stress that safety remains a top priority as the building reopens Saturday.
