• Another Death at Sunken Meadow State Park After 2nd Vehicle in a Week Crashes into Toll Booth, Bursts into Flames (longisland.com) — Emergency crews from Kings Park responded to a second deadly crash in a week at the Sunken Meadow State Park toll booths, where a vehicle struck the structure and burst into flames. State and county police are investigating both similar fatal incidents, which occurred just days apart on the Sunken Meadow State Parkway near Smithtown.
