Water Main Break Impacts Copiague Businesses: SCWA

COPIAGUE, NY — A water main break on Oak Street in Copiague left multiple businesses without water service Tuesday, according to the Suffolk County Water Authority.

According to the SCWA main breaks map, 15 businesses are currently without water, with the affected area stretching from Bayview Avenue to Great Neck Road. No residential outages were listed in connection with the break.

Crews were on site working to repair the break, SCWA said. An estimated time for restoration was not immediately available.

Residents and business owners are encouraged to monitor SCWA updates as work continues.
