• Sun and Surf Beach Club cleanup continues after tornado, as local businesses offer help (news12.com) — A tornado left the Sun and Surf Beach Club in nearby Atlantic Beach so damaged it will stay closed for the rest of the summer, and Long Beach's Frank's Trattoria is among the local businesses feeding cleanup crews. Along with eateries from Woodmere and Atlantic Beach, they're pitching in free meals to support workers and keep the tight-knit shoreline community going.
