• Fire Breaks Out At Medford Home, Drawing Area Firefighters: Police (patch.com) — A house fire on Heather Avenue in Medford Tuesday afternoon drew a response from the Medford Fire Department, which quickly contained the flames to the home's exterior with no injuries reported. A second small fire in nearby Patchogue was also extinguished without injuries or property damage, according to Suffolk police.
