Father And Son Twosome Left Path Of Destruction Behind At Golf Course: Police

RED HOOK, NY — A Hudson Valley father and son twosome broke course etiquette in criminal way., according to cops

Red Hook police have charged a father and son from Clinton with felony criminal mischief after investigating a damage complaint at the Red Hook Golf Course.

Police said they received a criminal mischief complaint on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, from the Red Hook Golf Course on State Route 199 in the Town of Red Hook. After what police described as a two-week investigation, officers say they found that Noah C. White, 45, and Lucas M. White, 20, intentionally caused damage while playing golf.

According to police, the damage involved carts, property and the course belonging to the Red Hook Golf Club. Police said the estimated cost of repairs was more than $7,000.

Both Noah C. White and Lucas M. White were charged with felony criminal mischief in the second degree.

After being processed, the two men were released on tickets to appear in Red Hook Town Court at a later date, police said.
