Hudson Valley Man In Child Pornography Case Involving 12-Year-Old Victims Gets Prison: DOJ

"Jordan Watson crossed a clear legal and moral line by pressuring children to produce sexually explicit images," Clayton said.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — A Hudson Valley sexual predator who targeted children is headed for federal prison.

U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, announced on Monday that 27-year-old Jordan Watson, of Wappingers Falls, was sentenced to 78 months in prison for receipt and distribution of child pornography. He previously pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving and distributing child sex abuse material.

In addition to prison, Watson was sentenced to five years of supervised release.

"Jordan Watson crossed a clear legal and moral line by pressuring children to produce sexually explicit images," Clayton said. "This kind of conduct deepens the harm to victims and spreads far beyond a single interaction. It affects families and communities here in New York, and we will hold accountable those who engage in this reprehensible conduct."

According to court documents, in July and August 2021, Watson pretended to be 16 years old, and communicated online with a 12-year-old girl in Arizona and a 12-year-old girl in Indiana. In the communications with the children, he "persuaded each to engage in sexually explicit conduct, to produce a visual depiction of such conduct, and to transmit one or more images or videos depicting that conduct to him over the Internet."

WARNING: Readers may find some of the conversations and details from court documents disturbing.

Prosecutors say that Watson engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the Arizona victim through Snapchat.

On July 18, 2021, Watson described in graphic detail how he wanted to have sex with the victim and asked the victim her age. The victim initially told Watson that she was 14 years old, although she was 12 years old at the time. Later that day, Watson messaged the victim "Send the pics;" "Send me stuff if you're horny . . ."

On July 26, 2021, Watson engaged in further conversations with the victim, indicating that he was requesting or had requested sexually explicit material, according to prosecutors. Among other things, Watson directed the victim to "[p]ut them on infinity," which is a reference to a Snapchat setting that makes a video play on loop. On the same day, the victim messaged "I'm almost 13," reflecting her true age of 12.

On August 1, 2021, the victim sent Watson a sexually explicit video of herself masturbating.

Prosecutors say that Watson also engaged in sexually explicit conversations with an Indiana victim over Snapchat.

On August 3, 2021, Watson asked the second victim "how old are you;" and she responded that she was 13 years old, although she was actually 12 years old. Watson then messaged the second victim "[l]ater TN you should show me something and I wanna f*** you it'll be nice to see your t******* bounce."

Several hours later, on August 4, 2021, Watson sent the victim several messages asking her to send sexually explicit images or videos of herself to him. He messaged the victim "What would you send me;" "You can go to the bathroom and do some stuff please I'll f*** you whenever you want"; "No p**** that's what my d**** gonna be in and send videos playing with them;" "If you do it in the red you gotta send another pic of just your p****." Watson then directed the victim to send "t**** and face in bathroom and a video fingering yourself." When the victim expressed concern that, if she sent Watson sexually explicit videos, he would post them online, he responded, "Please a quick p**** playing video no one will know."

On August 5, 2021, Watson messaged the victim, among other things, "Finger yourself for me;" "Show me and send like 20 videos put them on infinity so I can j*** off to them;" "And spit on the brush and suck on the brush and show your face cuz I wanna think that I'm f***ing you." The victim responded "my wifi is slow but some are sending;" "6 videos." Watson then responded, "Send more please I'm horny asf for you."

Soon after, the victim sent two videos to Watson: a sexually explicit video of herself masturbating with a hairbrush, and a video in which her face is visible, in which the victim puts the hairbrush in her mouth.

Clayton praised the efforts of the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, and the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

The prosecution is being handled by the Office's White Plains Division, with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Patricia M. Reville and Stephanie Simon in charge of the prosecution.
