Victim In Deadly Single-Car Crash ID'd As 20-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man
Crash investigators said the 2009 Pontiac G6 was traveling south on N. Quaker Lane when it left the road and hit a tree.
HYDE PARK, NY — The victim of a deadly crash has been identified as 20-year-old from Hyde Park.
He died after a one-car crash Saturday night in the Town of Hyde Park, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened at approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday. Crash investigators said a 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by Austin Caston was traveling south on N. Quaker Lane, near Forest Drive, when he lost control. The vehicle then left the roadway and struck a tree, according to the sheriff's office.

Caston was the only occupant of the car, the sheriff's office reported. He was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
