Hey neighbors! I want to introduce you to Ox, an absolute powerhouse of a dog with a heart of gold who is currently calling Ogdensburg home. Ox is a Dogo Argentino mix - a big, beautiful, athletic breed- but his journey here hasn't been easy. He started out as a stray wandering the streets of South Carolina. Luckily, an incredible rescue group out of North Carolina recognized how special he was and pulled him from the shelter. Now, he is up north with me in New York, safe, loved, and taking on his biggest challenge yet: competing in a massive nationwide contest!

Ox is running to win a major competition that celebrates incredible rescue dogs. Winning this isn't just about bragging rights (though he does deserve them); it is a massive platform to show the world what resilient, loving companion rescue dogs - and large breeds like Dogos - can truly be.
