• Business Owner, Dad Dies After DWI Driver Hits Parked Car in Middle Island: Police (dailyvoice.com) — A man who graduated from St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay has died after an alleged drunk driver hit the parked car he was sitting in on Wilson Drive in Middle Island. Police say 44-year-old James Baldassarri later succumbed to his injuries at Stony Brook University Hospital, and they're asking anyone with information about the late-night crash to contact the Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad.
