Nor'easter Storm Damage Self-Reporting Form Released For New York

New York State has developed an online form allowing  residents to self-report damages to their homes and/or business.

NEW YORK — Town officials, in coordination with offices of emergency management, are currently gathering information and data regarding the recent nor’easter.

Multiple areas throughout New York have been affected by the multi-day storm, officials said.

New York State has developed an online form allowing residents to self-report damages to their homes and/or businesses.

The purpose of the form is solely to collect information that may help state and local officials identify supplemental damages to develop and augment potential requests for available federal assistance programs, a release said.

Residents who incurred damage are asked to complete the form by clicking the link here; this electronic form is sent directly to New York State.
