• Former Riverhead resident pleads guilty in fatal Cutchogue DWI crash (riverheadlocal.com) — A former Riverhead resident has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and related charges in a 2022 DWI crash on Route 25 in Cutchogue that ultimately killed a 60-year-old passenger. Prosecutors say he fled to Poland during the case but was extradited back to Suffolk County, where he now faces a potential five-to-fifteen-year prison sentence.
