• Man Charged With Robbing Rockville Centre Gas Station, Slashing Employee With Knife (newsbreak.com) — A Hempstead man has been charged in a violent September robbery at the BP gas station on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, where a 64-year-old employee was slashed in the face with a knife. Nassau County police say detectives tracked and arrested the suspect in Long Beach, and he now faces serious robbery and assault charges in First District Court.
