Arrest Made After TD Bank Robbery In Lake Ronkonkoma: Police

Police say the suspect handed a teller a demand note before fleeing the TD Bank on Portion Road on May 8.

LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk County Police arrested a man in connection with the robbery of a TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma that occurred last week, police said.

Major Case Unit detectives charged Sage Arias-Brown, 33, of Lake Ronkonkoma, with third-degree robbery following the May 8 robbery at TD Bank at 474 Portion Road, police said.

According to police, Arias-Brown entered the bank around 5:15 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot, police said.

Arias-Brown was arrested Friday and was scheduled to be held overnight at the Sixth Precinct ahead of arraignment Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
