Man Found Stabbed In Parking Lot Of Strip Mall In Selden: Police

He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.

SELDEN, NY — A 46-year-old man was found stabbed in the parking lot of strip mall in Selden late Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.

A 911 caller alerted officers that there was an injured man in the parking lot off Middle Country Road at around 11:45 p.m., and when they arrived at the scene, they found the man had been stabbed, according to police.

The strip mall contains a bank, pet shop, bar, nail salon, foot spa, and fast food restaurant.

The 6th Squad of detectives in Selden is investigating.
