Police Seeking Pair of Suspects In Clothing Swipe From Walmart In Middle Island

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a pair of suspects they say swiped around $100 in clothes from Walmart in Middle Island on Aug. 12.

It happened at the Middle Country Road store at around 7:15 p.m., according to police.

In an image from security video, the first woman can be seen wearing a black tank top and baseball cap, and white shorts. She was carrying a black tote bag. The second woman can be seen wearing a light-colored Adidas T-shirt and black pants, as well as white sneakers.

The crime has been classified petty larceny.

Officers from the 6th Precinct's Crime Section in Selden are investigating.
