Starbucks Opens Latest Long Island Location In Shirley
The smell of the Seattle-based coffee chain's signature blends wafted in the air Thursday afternoon.

SHIRLEY, NY — Well, there weren't any "Bearista" coffee mugs in the new Starbucks on Thursday afternoon, but the good news is everything else was there, including the Seattle-based coffee chain's signature blends.
The new location, which is at the corner of William Floyd Parkway and Montauk Highway, opened last Friday, complete with a seating area and a drive-thru to accommodate to-go orders.
It features an array of coffees, and teas, as well as pastries, sandwiches, and protein packs.
