The space is on the ground floor of the neighborhood's newest homeless shelter.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Sakura Market has signed a lease for the former Goodwill store at 1114 First Ave., on the corner of East 61st Street, according to the retail brokerage that handled the deal.

The space includes 3,700 square feet on the ground floor and a 2,700-square-foot lower level, with high ceilings on both floors, Meridian Retail Leasing said in an email to Patch.
