VETERANS DAY RECOGNITION SERVICE - ROSLYN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
Some of our friends, neighbors, and family members have devoted years of their lives to serving our country. Many rarely speak of their experiences or the sacrifices they made.
On Sunday, November 15, we have an opportunity to come together as a community and let them know that their service has not been forgotten.
Roslyn Presbyterian Church warmly invites all veterans, their families, friends, and neighbors to our special Veterans Day Recognition Service.
📅 Sunday, November 15, 2026
🕙 10:00 AM
📍 Roslyn Presbyterian Church
140 East Broadway, Roslyn, NY
(Next to beautiful Gerry Pond Park)
Our service will feature patriotic hymns, special music, and a heartfelt recognition of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Whether you served decades ago or more recently, whether your service was during wartime or peacetime, we want you to know that your service matters, your sacrifices are remembered, and your presence would be a privilege for us.
Everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
HELP US HONOR A VETERAN BY NAME
We would be honored to include the names of veterans in our printed service bulletin. Please send names to:
roslynpresbyterianoffice@gmail.com
RSVPs by November 10 are appreciated to help us plan refreshments:
roslynpresbyterian4veterans@gmail.com
For your convenience, guests may be dropped off at the circular driveway directly at the church entrance. A wheelchair-accessible ramp provides easy access to the church. Additional parking is available in the adjacent lower-level outdoor lot.
PLEASE SHARE THIS INVITATION!
If you know a veteran—a family member, friend, neighbor, or former colleague—please personally invite them to join us.
Because sometimes the most meaningful way to say "Thank you for your service" is to show up and say it together.
We hope you'll join us for this very special morning.
