• July 4th Celebration in Blowing Rock (blowingrock.com) — Blowing Rock’s 4th of July Parade & Festival is set for Saturday, July 4 at 10 a.m. on Main Street, with a big small-town procession of families, musicians, and local groups. Main Street parking will be closed from midnight to 11 a.m., and a free shuttle from Shoppes on the Parkway runs 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., pausing only during the parade.
