• Protestors gather following deadly officer-involved shooting in north Charlotte (wsoctv.com) — Residents gathered for hours at a north Charlotte gas station Saturday to protest the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department after a deadly officer-involved shooting the day before. State investigators are examining where officers fired and where the man was struck, while a friend who says he witnessed the shooting questions how it unfolded. An autopsy scheduled for Monday is expected to clarify the man's injuries.
   

• American Airlines Has a New Fix for Hours of Frustrating Rolling Delays (aviationa2z.com) — American Airlines is testing a new way of handling rolling delays at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, giving passengers a more realistic delay estimate upfront instead of repeated 20–30 minute extensions. For Charlotte flyers, that could mean fewer frustrating gate updates and clearer timelines for grabbing food, rebooking, or deciding how to spend long waits at CLT.
