• 'Unified Minds Bring Harmony': EBCI hosts National NAIWA Conference (theonefeather.com) — Women leaders from across Indian Country just wrapped up the 54th NAIWA Conference at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, highlighting Cherokee’s role in Native women’s leadership and advocacy. Local EBCI women led panels on government leadership and Rights of Nature, and attendees toured the Qualla Boundary, including a performance of “Unto These Hills,” underscoring Cherokee’s cultural and political influence.
