• 'Scattered Steel' is the First Comprehensive Account of Public Art Made from Ground Zero Wreckage (architecturalrecord.com) — Cornelius is home to a 9/11 memorial built from World Trade Center steel, part of a nationwide effort to share Ground Zero artifacts with communities far from New York. A new book, "Scattered Steel," explores how pieces of the towers became public art and memorials, including the Cornelius installation oriented symbolically toward New York City.
