• No-swim advisory issued for Lake Norman cove after 900-gallon wastewater spill ahead of Labor Day (qcnews.com) — A no-swim advisory is in effect for a Lake Norman cove in Cornelius after roughly 900 gallons of wastewater spilled near 18600 Harborside Drive by LakeHouse Wine Bar & Grill. Charlotte Water says a damaged low-pressure pipe caused the overflow, and the restriction will stay until testing shows the water is safe for recreation.
