⢠La Grange council approves $950,000 neighborhood revitalization grant agreement ā Neuse News (neusenews.com) ā La Grange Town Council has approved a $950,000 neighborhood revitalization grant to replace four substandard homes near Frink Middle School with safe, energyāefficient housing for lowā to moderateāincome families. The $1 million project may include up to $50,000 in local funds and is part of a broader plan to eventually turn the school property into a community recreation complex. The grant does not have to be repaid if requirements are met.

⢠DEPUTIES: Foul play not suspected in medical emergency at La Grange middle school (witn.com) ā A student at E.B. Frink Middle School in La Grange was rushed to the hospital Monday after a medical emergency, and deputies say no foul play is suspected. Officials are releasing very few details, citing student privacy, while a local TV station presses the county for legally public records like 911 calls and radio traffic.

⢠Teens Lead Internship at the La Grange Public Library ā Neuse News (neusenews.com) ā A local high school junior just wrapped up a Teens Lead internship at the La Grange Public Library, gaining hands-on experience with customer service, programming, and technology. She also launched a monthly āTreat Yourself to a Game Nightā series for teens and even designed a La Grangeāthemed board game. Applications for the next Teens Lead cohort open in mid-April for rising 11th and 12th graders in Lenoir, Jones, and Greene counties.
