ā¢ Enbridge pipeline chatham- lee county landowner concern (spectrumlocalnews.com) ā A major natural gas pipeline is proposed to run from Siler City to Moncure, and Chatham County residents are raising alarms about property rights, environmental impacts, and eminent domain. Landowners along the 28āmile route say they want more transparency from Enbridge and regulators, while county commissioners plan an August 5 meeting for public comment. Construction could start in 2027 if approved.
