• Mayor Says Greensboro May Have To Raise Tax Rate If Revaluation Moratorium Becomes Law (rhinotimes.com) — Summerfield homeowners could see their tax bills change because a new state bill would freeze Guilford County’s 2026 property revaluation for a year, forcing all towns to keep using 2022 values. Greensboro’s mayor warns this may push cities and nearby towns like Summerfield to either raise tax rates on old values or cut services as they scramble to redo budgets.
