• Carter Banks pushes for dismissal in case regarding Greenbrier (theintermountain.com) — A major legal fight over control of The Greenbrier Resort could end up in the Circuit Court of the City of Martinsville or federal court in Western Virginia, thanks to a contract clause Carter Bank says controls the case. The bank is asking a West Virginia judge to dismiss the Justice family’s lawsuit there, arguing all disputes belong in Virginia courts where related litigation is already underway.
