• SPD to enforce parking rules on Main Street (thesylvaherald.com) — If you park on Main Street in downtown Sylva, expect tickets instead of warnings for parking violations effective immediately. After repeated complaints and prior outreach to businesses, Sylva police will step up patrols and issue citations to keep spaces open for shoppers and visitors. Officers say they’re not planning to use wheel boots yet but want fair access for everyone.
