Residents are also urged to conserve indoors with shorter showers, leak repairs, and careful faucet use to avoid even tighter rules later. 
• TPD: Suspect charged with breaking into motor vehicles in Colonial Crossing neighborhood (iredellfreenews.com) — Troutman police say a local resident has been arrested and charged in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins in the Colonial Crossing neighborhood, and they’re urging everyone to keep cars locked, even in driveways. Officers and Iredell County deputies quickly detained the suspect after an attempted break-in Tuesday night, then linked him to additional incidents and significantly increased his bond.
