• Winterville awarded $2.26M in grants for water, police radios and fire training (wcti12.com) — Winterville is receiving $2.26 million in federal grants to boost water capacity, upgrade police radio communications, and build a new fire training facility, directly strengthening local safety and infrastructure. Congressman Greg Murphy will present the funding Friday at Town Hall, and town leaders say the projects will significantly improve residents’ quality of life.
