• Authorities investigate after bomb threat hoax at Weaverville bank (wyff4.com) — Woodfin Police helped respond to a bomb threat hoax Thursday at HomeTrust Bank on Northridge Commons Parkway in nearby Weaverville, where a search found no explosive device. Investigators are now working to identify whoever made the threat, which police say caused understandable distress for bank staff and nearby residents.
