• Wake County Restaurant Owner Charged In State Tax Cases (jocoreport.com) — A Youngsville woman who owns two Wake County restaurants has been charged with multiple felony counts related to unpaid state and county sales taxes, according to revenue officials. Investigators allege more than $178,000 in sales taxes were collected but not remitted over several years. The charges involve restaurants operating under the Red Monkey and The Arepa Bar names in Wake County.
