ā¢ Lakefest logo design winner announced (sovanow.com) ā Clarksvilleās signature Virginia Lake Festival has its new 2026 logo, designed by Amanda Young to showcase the downtown bridge, lake life, fireworks, and other familiar local scenes. The 49th annual Lakefest is set for July 17ā18 in Clarksville, with hot air balloons, boats, food, arts, kidsā activities, and more planned along Buggs Island Lake.

ā¢ Clarksville real estate taxes set to rise with reassesments (sovanow.com) ā Clarksville property owners are likely to see higher real estate tax bills this year because assessments jumped about 22%, even though the town tax rate stays at 28 cents. The proposed $6.79 million budget funds employee raises, downtown wayfinding signs, park and infrastructure upgrades, and the first phase of the Cove Project. Residents can speak out at a public hearing on June 4. Ā Ā Ā
