ā¢ Man wanted for Halifax County store robbery arrested (wdbj7.com) ā Law enforcement has arrested a South Boston man in connection with the August 2 robbery at Smileyās Convenience Store on Bill Tuck Highway in Halifax County. Halifax County deputies, South Boston Police, Virginia State Police, and other agencies coordinated across jurisdictions to track a suspect vehicle, locate it in Roanoke, and take the man into custody without incident.
