• Aurora man stole $2M meant for cancer research in Greece, feds say (cleveland.com) — A 57-year-old Aurora man is accused in federal court of using fake documents to divert more than $2 million from a California trust meant to support cancer research in Greece. Prosecutors say he siphoned stock dividends and unclaimed funds into his own accounts between 2021 and 2022; he has pleaded not guilty and remains free on bond.
